  2.  Dr. Purnendu Kumar Ghosh Endowment Scholarship instituted by Dr. Purnendu Kumar Ghosh himself in 2005 for students securing highest marks in Botany Hons., Physics Hons. and English Hons. in Part -I Exam. (Amount of endowment Rs. 1,00,000.00)

  6.  Dr. Saptadip Samanta, an alumnus and Teacher of this College in the Dept. of Physiology, donated Rs. 20,000/- in 2012 for a student either of Zoology or Botany or Physiology securing highest average marks from this College under Vidyasagar University, or if two or more candidates obtain same marks in same subject, both or all candidates will be awarded silver medal inscribed as “SANAT KUMAR SAMANTA SMRITI SILVER MEDAL” in memory of his father Late Sanat Kumar Samanta.
  7.  Sri Shyama Pada Ghosh, Laboratory Instructor of the Dept. of Botany of this College, donated a sum of Rs- 50,000/- (Fifty thousand only) towards cash prize in the title of “Lt Subodh Chandra Ghosh Smriti Puraskar” to the highest scorer in the PG Dept. of Botany
  8.  Dr. Purnendu Kumar Ghosh, former Teacher-in-Charge & H.O.D, Department of Botany, Midnapore College donated a sum of Rs. 2,00,000.00 (Rupees Two Lakh) only as an endowment fund entitled “ Travel Award ” for allowing the students to attend the Indian Science Congress.
  9.  Sri Shankar Mukhopadhyay, an ex-student and grandson of Late B.D. Banerjee, Ex-Principal of Midnapore College has donated an amount of Rs. 10,50,000.00/- (Rupees Ten Lakh and fifty thousand only) in 2021 for giving endowment scholarship to poor and meritorious students of the College. 
  10.  Dr. Sampa Chatterjee, Associate Professor of Philosophy donated a sum ofRs. 20,0001- on 24.12.20 14 as an endowment fund to institute “Lakshmi Narayan Chatterjee Memorial Award” in memory of her father Late Lakshmi Narayan Chatterjee for the highest scorer in the Final Year 1 Semester, B.A. Philosophy Hons.
  11.  Prof. Sukumar Maiti, an alumnus of this College and Retired Professor, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur donated a sum ofRs. 1,10,000/- on 21.07.14
    as an endowment fund to institute “Rajanikanta Maiti Memorial Award” in memory of his father Late Rajanikanta Maiti for a student standing first in the Final Year Semester of B.Sc., Chemistry (Hons.)

  2.  Prof. Satya Ranjan Ghosh, Associate Professor &H.O.D, Department of History, Midnapore College donated a sum of Rs.70,000.00 (Rupees Seventy Thousand) only towards Gold Medal to the highest Scorer in P.G. History of this College entitled “ Kalipada Ghosh and Amodini Ghosh Memorial Award”.
  3.  Smt.
